The 500 Sherbrooke Rooftop Garden

The rooftop gardens at 500 Sherbrooke in downtown Montreal are a  little patch of heaven.

The raised planters, painted a delicate blue, are overflowing with white New Guinea impatiens, purple petunias, tumbling sweet potato vines, and delicate evening primrose

 

There is even a vegetable patch, overflowing with onions, garlic, Swiss chard, purple cabbage, eggplants, tomatoes, green pepper, celery and mint.

Pretty wrought iron tables and chairs are scattered across the rooftop, creating inviting places to sit and linger. 

 

​A truly magical garden.
