Crew Member: Grass and Turf

As a grass and turf crew member at Strathmore, your job is to cut grass on the lawns and grounds of our client's buildings. Tasks include mowing flat or sloped areas, trimming the edges of lawns, managing turf, and more.

Responsibilities
 

  • Cut grass using small mowers, tractors, blowers and trimmers according to Strathmore standards
     

  • Help crew leader and crew members load and unload trucks 
     

  • Report any issues to the crew leader
     

  • Comply with Strathmore policies and regulations
     

  • Respect and follow all local health and safety regulations

For a perfect match

​​

  • High school diploma 

  • 1-year experience in grass and turf (preferred but not required) 

  • Be physically fit and have great endurance.

  • A driver's license with a good driver's record is an asset but not required

  • Ability to use and maintain equipment safely and responsibly

  • Execute verbal instructions, read labels and signs

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as a team

  • Speak French and/or English
